Terms of Service

PuffPad (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) provides booking, payment, and operations software for businesses that rent inflatable amusement equipment — including bounce houses, waterslides, combo units, obstacle courses, and similar party rentals. By creating an account or using the Service you (“Operator”, “you”) agree to these Terms of Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with a new version number and effective date. Material changes require you to review and accept the updated terms before continuing to use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter into agreements on behalf of the business you list on PuffPad.

PuffPad is a software platform. It is not a rental company, equipment inspector, or insurer. You — the Operator — are solely responsible for the inflatables you list, the customers you rent to, and the events you service. In particular, you agree to:

• Inspect, maintain, and safely operate every inflatable you list, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and any applicable safety standards (e.g. ASTM F2374, F2970, local amusement-ride regulations).
• Hold and maintain all licenses, permits, insurance, and bonding required to operate an inflatable rental business in your jurisdiction.
• Collect appropriate liability waivers, supervision agreements, and any other documentation from your customers. PuffPad provides e-sign tooling, but the contents and legal sufficiency of the documents are your responsibility.
• Comply with applicable consumer-protection, sales-tax, and event-permit requirements for each booking.

When your customers book through PuffPad, we collect and process information about them (name, contact details, booking details, payment details via Stripe) on your behalf. As between you and us, you own and control that data. We process it to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree to handle customer data lawfully, to honor reasonable deletion and access requests, and to give customers an honest description of how their data will be used.

Plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from your account at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Customer-facing payments (deposits, balances, refunds) are processed by Stripe under your Stripe account. We do not hold customer funds. Stripe's terms and fees apply to those transactions.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing on 30 days' notice. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes related to operating your inflatable rental business.
• Do not use PuffPad to list or rent equipment you do not own or are not authorized to rent.
• Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, billing, or other safeguards.
• Do not send spam, harvest customer lists for resale, or use the Service to transmit malware.

We may contact you with product updates, new features, tips for running an inflatable rental business, and occasional partner offers — subject to the marketing opt-in preference recorded on your account. You can update the preference at any time from My Account or by clicking unsubscribe in any marketing email. Transactional messages (billing receipts, security alerts, terms updates) are required for the operation of the Service and are not covered by this preference.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PuffPad's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms makes PuffPad liable for injuries, property damage, or other harm caused by the inflatable equipment, the events you operate, or the contracts you enter into with your customers. Those risks are yours as the Operator.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, infringed our intellectual property, abused customers through the platform, or created legal risk for the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel from your account.
